Hey, I'm looking for a jazz guitar VST that sounds just like the one in this song: https://youtu.be/sfyvAQemik4?t=10
(incase the timestamp doesn't work well, i'm talking about the guitar at 0:10)
I don't know much about guitars so I don't know if there's a specific name for a guitar with this kind of sound, all I know is that there are many other jazz guitars that sound very different. So far I've found that https://impactsoundworks.com/product/sh ... 3-archtop/ (https://impactsoundworks.com/product/shreddage-3-archtop/) seems to have at least one preset that kind of sounds like the guitar in this song but its fairly expensive and might not be my best option, so if you know happen to know a jazz guitar VST with this specific sound I would be very thankful!

Yes Shreddage 3 archtop. It is a pretty clean jazz guitar. Probably the closest. There is also evolution jazz archtop.

And I actually found that I have a pretty similar jazz guitar sample from a Native Instruments bundle but I think it's pretty mediocre, but maybe it's just because it's not in a full-song context? Strum-GS-2 from AAS certainly deserves to be heard for your purpose.

Hmmmmm... I was about to say those Strum GS demos sound awful, like the "guitar" preset on a child's Casio... but then I listened to O.Ps example... turns out, that is the sound he's after.

I kinda like Strum GS, but not for real guitar sounds. Soloing and comping works well as long as you don't need real. Yes it would work well given the OP's example

ISW Archtop is great. Also Orange tree samples has a nice jazz guitar. I use both often. Either could play the part you referenced.
