Go check it out. I feel Waverazor is one of the most underated synths. It's in a row with Tranzistow - very capable synths ... no meant to say ... tremendously capable but still somehow niche products. It's a sad thing that todays users are not willing to invest some time to dive deep into a synths and try to understand them. For me it's somehow like neo in matrix ... after a while all over sudden you begin to see structures. anyways ...

What they say in their relase notes:
Media Overkill (MOK) has released version 2.1.3 of the Waverazor synthesizer, a free update for all registered users.

The update includes 62 new sounds from German sound designers Mark Hoffmann and ]Peter:H[ for a total of 349 factory included presets. Also included in this update are 6 new filter types, including an SK35 (Sallen-Key), Diode Ladder, Ring Math (Ring Mod on Steroids), Wavefolder, Saturation, and Virtual Analog filter.
Download the latest version of Waverazor from the Tracktion Marketplace.

I'm truly stoking on this unit!

The editor is a little tacked on graphically, but it's possible to see that this plugin has been an enormous amount of work

I'm glad that I have found this with the editor exposed, because my MIDI guitar technique just *requires* that I can turn off amp env release for one of my modes

It sounds so wild

If the editor graphics get to u, u can just flick back to the performance controls for UI candy

IMO it's worth the list cost, a bit of a kick is always something to go on with, the far out sounds really suit me

Thanks, but for me I will have to pass on this time.

But I do wonder what is the best alternative.

bending wavetables seems to offer some opportunities for developers, if we can be creative/nousy enough

Europa had me entertained preset surfing, imo it's not filler
If applied to sound design, I'm sure u would find some nummy stuff
The MOK however draws you into sound design more so far-
to take nothing away from Reason though,
I always liked Reason's feel- it's a cool time in audio soft,

now I have my guitar controller, I can leverage amazing instruments,
but my playing hardly moves the earth heh
