Many years later, many new sample libraries and vst plugins , and none of them can beat the old steinberg - Wizoo VG2.
I'm afraid in the future it won't be able to run on newer machines. I spent days to get it running on OS Catalina. But it works ok I'm windows 10.
Is there anything that can replace it ?

Ironically UJAM is made up of a team that made vg2, but their virtual Guitars even tho have lots of rhythms and patterns but the sound is just plain awful.

It won’t run on Catalina but it does run on Mojave.

There’s nothing that really replaces it exactly. IMO it was ahead of its time and sounds great. The NI guitars have the sound quality but they don’t work like VG.

I like stuff from Indiginus (Need Kontakt). Reasonably priced too.

Orange Trees and Ilya Efimov are great too, but a tad more expensive.

Doesn't have Native Instruments some Guitarists in their Komplete package?

I like the Ample Sound guitars. Kind of pricey but at least they never make you pay for upgrades.

I have NI strummed acoustic,
don't like it.
there was only one time that one of its rhythms fit the song.
The sound is good but rhryhtms are useless for me

Checked out some videos on AmpleGuitars , the strumming takes some time to program in. Is this so ?

I've also got VG2 running on Mojave. It's just plain fun – maybe not as sophisticated as some recent instruments, but groovy! :band:

Yes but you'll get used to it. They have a few lesson videos on youtube.

VG2 sounded a bit plastic and fake to my ears. UJAM's guitar instruments are quite decent when used with careful restraint and moderation.

I’m using a combination of Orange Tree Samples, NI and Indiginus guitars. These cover all my requirements really well.
