I'm grateful you brought that up, because I find it very interesting. Also it helps us understand better what is going on under the hood.

One thing I've always wondered ... since you always say "we". Are you RuediRena one or several individuals? :)

Yes, I, for one, would. I'd think that once a synth has been designated, that should be it. No Pro versions. I'm with Jasinski, Carl, RuediRena and IV! on that.

As for the text file editing: Any parameters accessible through the preset file are, strictly speaking, exposed and as such should be allowed to be modified. Z.prime absolutely has a point there, I believe . However, being a specialist and time consuming way of editing ( the finding out what's what, that is ), I'd argue against it, to keep a level playing field.

Hm, trying to get the download URL via the "registration" form. How long does it take the mail to arrive?
May I kindly ask sbdy to share the synth via dropbox... Thx.

Thanks, but the windows link get's me to a "security warning" page ... and looking at the URL makes me suspicious. I'll better wait for the mail to arrive.

FYI those were the links I got in the email, I didn't re-upload the synth elsewhere or anything...

Just to chime in with agreement with Carl and others. Synth as is, no pro & no file editing if we are trying to gather a consensus :ud:
To add an argument against the text editing: yes I feel if UI hidden parameters were available to DAW automation then they could be used. However editing a file outside of the DAW seems well...outside of the DAW. Not too far removed from editing features in an open-source synth such as changing envelope behaviors in the OSC 132 synth for example. Distinction being the effort/skill involved more so than the concept of outside of DAW editing.

Anyway here is my entry. If it is later determined the Pro version is allowed I can easily withdraw.
Details on SC page.

And that's what the great Jasinski is telling us right now in his 666th message - use the free version!!! :borg: I think we must obey and do as he says!

Yeh, do as he says … NO GO PRO …

I might give dubstep a go with this?

Dubstep with this synth - sounds incredible! Although the effects work wonders of course... It would be great to hear that!

25 instances of Cheeze Machine 2 in Reaper
25 ReaEQ
5 ReaComp
4 ReaDelay
1 ReaVerb
1 BlueArp
Lots of DAW automation of CM2 parameters

This is my first time entering this. I'm happy it looks like we're all just using CM2. Although I dislike how preset dependent it is.

Don't forget to enable downloads for your submission. It seems you haven't done so yet.
