Hey GMusic, I'm open to suggestions. If you want to shoot me an email, we can discuss further. Probably the best thing to do would be to provide some examples of before / after what you'd like to see. marcus at omnitag dot net

OmniTag has been updated with some fixes and minor changes. All users should have received an email. If not, please PM me.

BONUS LIBRARY
This is probably a good time to point out that OmniTag comes with a nice collection of 65 FREE patches for Omnisphere 2. Developed by Guy Rowland, they are a nice add-on to your tidy Omnisphere installation.
Some new demos for the bonus library are up - by the one and only TORLEY:
https://soundcloud.com/marclawsonmusic/ ... us-library
Discount pricing will remain in effect until end of 2021.
Thanks for your continued support!!!

An update today for Omnitag:
Those prefixes can be tricky blighters, so many developers have their own idiosyncratic standards, great to see Marcus is still adding more to the engine. (I feel duty-bound to point out - removing patch prefixes is OPTIONAL, but I love it).Changed LicenseSpring HardwareID algorithm to prevent licensing errors on newer Windows 10 installations.
Re-worked prefix detection logic to be more reliable across the board.
Added new prefix overrides in Conform Engine

One thing I'm struggling with is that I've lost the actual bank names and folders for patches - eg I have almost every library by The Unfinished but now can't keep track of what I have and haven't got because all patches are mixed up and sorted by category. Bit annoying tbh. I would rather it sorted out the tagging but kept the bank names - is there any way for me to rectify this?

I don't quite follow... I have (and tested with) a few Unfinished libraries and they all keep their bank names as I think of them (Horizon, Colossus etc) but of course the patches within each are sorted into conformed Spectrasonics categories. Are you seeing something different?aMUSEd wrote: ↑Thu Dec 23, 2021 11:02 pm One thing I'm struggling with is that I've lost the actual bank names and folders for patches - eg I have almost every library by The Unfinished but now can't keep track of what I have and haven't got because all patches are mixed up and sorted by category. I mean they were all in folders by bank name - but now the Folder that had The Unfinished banks in it has folders based on categories instead. Same for all banks I have.

Definitely something odd there.
Here's the file structure I have for an Unfinished conformed library, which follows the normal installation paths (starting with the STEAM folder):
STEAM / Omnisphere / Settings Library / Patches / The Unfinished Omnisphere GaiKaiju / ARP + BPM etc.
Could you post what you see in your STEAM folder? Thanks.

Every folder is now 'deconstructed' into this:
I want to get back the folder structure I had so I can tell which patch belongs to which bank - I thought it was just fixing tags, not breaking up banks

At least I've found backups - here's how it looked before I ran this app:
Is there a way to get it to revert everything in one go?

Hi there, did you have subfolders under each dev's folder?
For example, did you have...
Patches \ The Unfinished \ The Unfinished Colossus \ ARP + BPM \ <patches>
Patches \ The Unfinished \ The Unfinished Omnisphere GaiKaiju \ ARP + BPM \ <patches>
etc?
If so, you should have seen an 'install problem detected' message in OmniTag.
Expected folder structure is as follows:
Patches \ The Unfinished Colossus \ ARP + BPM \ <patches>
Patches \ The Unfinished Omnisphere GaiKaiju \ ARP + BPM \ <patches>
You can find a backup of your original files in your user folder on the Mac - in a folder called 'OmniTag'. Or you should be able to restore via the OmniTag UI.
If you restore the original folders, and then put them in the expect structure above, the library name will stay as-is.
Hope this helps
