I'm looking for recorded samples of the Alesis Ion for a project I'm working on.
If you own one I would love to talk to you.

I have one...time is pretty limited right now, but let me know what you have in mind. Might be a good excuse for me to explore Logic Pro 10.5's new AutoSampler.

Awesome. I'm looking for a hi res sample of the waveforms and a few patches (whichever ones stand out to you the most). I want to make wavetables out of them so just a single note (F1) about 2 seconds longs. It can be all one file, a 2sec note 2sec silence so on and so forth.. I can break it down myself i don't mind.

Also I would love samples of each wave being shaped from -100% to +100% that would be awesome.

Will take a peek at it soon, let's take this to PM. LMK if there are particular factory patches you're interested in. Can do 44.1K or 88.2/24 bit. By "each wave" do you mean each of the 3 OSCs being shaped at same time or individually? Can't make promises but I'll see.

88.2/24 bit is fine.. everything is getting converted to 32bit floating point 44.1k/mono at the end. And yeah, all 3 OSC's individually and at the same time would be great. I don't remember any of the factory patches, I only played with the Ion once back in 2005. Sonically it made a big impact that's all I remember, lol, it sounds amazing! I really only need about 5 minutes of audio, so the OSC's going thru their shapes individually and together and maybe a few patches that you think really represent the synth.
