Good luck everyone. It's a great synth (I suppose the father of Thor would be  ).

I've run out of time - busy with work - even though I got some tracks quite well worked on earlier in the month, sadly I'm not able to submit this time. :(

Oh well, listening to your tracks will still be fun :D

Really like single instancing with this synth! Here are two more: (Not submissions, just sharing it with you.)

I didn't think I would make it this month. After working on an idea for a funky, brassy, upbeat tune for most of the month, I realized I couldn't do justice to it within the time frame.

Fortunately, I'm not alone in lockdown. @J.T.'s Penrose and I pulled my presets together to make a track in one evening. It's certainly not perfect, but I don't think it needs to be.

Reaper 6.
24 instances of Odin
15 instances of ReaEQ
5 instances of ReaComp
4 instances of Cocoa Delay
1 instance of WagsVolumeReducer
1 instance of Protoverb
1 instance of Supermassive
1 instance of Limiter No6, SPAN, and MLoudnessAnalyzer

I will upload my presets at a later date, after I have a bit of time to sort them.

My submission: Autonomous Dream Sequence

Odin 2: 72 instances

FX: Logic ChromaVerb for verb sends, Logic EQs, compressors, limiter, OTT for mix-down. Tons of use of synth's internal FX with lots of automation. Used some layering in places.

TBH Odin 2 blew me away. In fact, I'm not sure why the dev did it for free. It rivals commercial analog synth emulations. And you can abuse the synth in so many ways and it still creates crazy cool sounds. My only feedback is it gets very CPU heavy when the SEQ is engaged, or with unison patches. Also - a built in reverb would make this a grand slam.

I saved all my presets in .odin format so hollar if you want 'em.

Loads of fun with this one. Hope it finds you well.

Hi ! So I've seen too big. I had a lot of work this month and I LITERALLY spent 48h making OSC. I won't be on time. Can I have like 2 or 3 hours left? I know, rules are the rules but this the one I was the most invested in... I create something like 150 presets. So if you are kind at 2am California time which is the reference for this contest.
Hope you will listen to it anyway :D

Insta 5, of course I want them... I bet if this is the official demo song, wavewardens server might get problems and free doesn’t mean you couldn’t donate...

So, here is my strange creation... For the above technical reasons, I could not write a track for a whole month, but I wrote it in 15 hours of continuous work. Therefore, for someone it can be terrible or... just weird.
I want to thank Photonic for useful tips (unison on 1 and freeezzzz! :tu: ), and for a useful patch "Strings" :hihi: (sounds at the beginning). In creating the piano, I went my own, more understandable ways for myself.
I was just sitting there composing music, but the tune seems familiar, so let me know if I accidentally plagiarized someone, and I'll put my work away. Other than those conflicts with my host, playing with The Odin was a lot of fun!

Oh, Yes, the details...
From Now On, Cakewalk :violin:
Odin II x 23
Oril River for atmosphere. If Odin had its own reverb, it would be noFX at all) I think that it will not be difficult for God to get one someday (to amplify his voice to the power of thunder! .. heh heh). I wish you all health and prudence in our troubled times!

Congratulations to The Wave Warden for developing this great synth Odin 2 and thank you for actively participating in this thread, helping as far as possible those who reported having any problem in the challenge.
It has been a pleasure trying to make music with this free virtual synth and that taking into account that it is still in beta phase. :tu:

Impressive entries everyone! :tu: Also it seems that Odin 2 can do most anything judging by the wide range of sounds I'm hearing.

Sadly, I ran down too many rabbit trails this month and wasn't able to get something together by the deadline. I really enjoyed the synth, though, and I'm enjoying the entries. Lots of nice work, as usual.

I just need an extra weekend to finish my piece. Or maybe an extra month. You never can tell, with bees. Oh, well. I still learned a ton, even if my piece won't be subjected to the critical crucible of voting in the end. Hehe.

Just finished voting... Really awesome work and a ton of variety! Lots of very talented musicians / sound designers here, and of course a top-notch job by The Wave Warden on the synth :)
