Great thread. (It actually was in the beginning.)

I am sure Richard is writing down every damn idiotic feature requested by "KVR product specialists" and after he develop these and release it, Obsession alone will be better then Batman himself.

AFAIK The Legend is planned to be further improved in the future (like already done multiple times in the past as just posted above) and the same should be true for OBsession and also DUNE 3.

Concerning tbe browser nobody really knows if it would be imporoved in the future or not but i agree that this might make sense. IMHO it is more likely that the browser in DUNE 3 might get an update as it has more options for that in the GUI compared to OBsession and The Legend. There is no RE version of DUNE 3 so the GUI has less restrictions than the other 2 plugins.

Anyway Richard has to care about multiple existing products (including several RE plugins) and does also work on new ones (e.g. the P600 emulation) so updates for certain plugins might take some time, also depending on how complex those are and/or if they have a high priority for Richard.

Bgg fixes is another story and usually Richard is quite fast with those (sometimes he got those in just 24h while there is no rule for that).

I bought Obsession on the weekend. Been having a wonderful time playing around with it.
I have it hooked up to my Novation Remote SL and it works really well, but I have a few usability requests:

midi or computer keyboard shortcuts for:
  • next/previous patch
  • flip to the rear plugin view
  • change which LFO is currently being viewed
ideally these would be midi controllable so I could control everything from my Remote, but if there was some other way of changing the above without having to constantly reach for my mouse, I would be happy.

The Arrow keys on your qwerty keyboard should function for Next/Previous Patch.

Doesn't seem to work for me: I should have mentioned I am using Logic on a mac.

Doesn't work in Logic or Live here.

Seems OS
Neither Legend or Obsession allow Keyboard Preset Navigation in Cubendo on Mac, but on PC it does indeed work.

Oh sorry, I didn't know you're on a Mac. Yes it's broken there but I think Synapse is aware of the issue.

I am using Cakewalk by Bandlab on my PC and the arrows aren't working here. At the moment I don't have another host to test it out on.

Not working here either even when "Give All Keystrokes to Plugin=Enabled".

It's been reported but I'm not sure if it's OBsession's fault or the fault of Cakewalk.

I made a Bitwig device panel for this which can be used with any generic 8 knob controller

I'm probably going to have to release an enhanced NKS template for this too because the Synapse one is too inkomplete and only covers the A layer and no switches.
