Modifying Original Midi But Keeping Feel of Song

Hi,

Is there any way to use an existing song's midi and use that as the starting point for a program to come up with variations that are still in the spirit of that midi? For example, if I like a midi part in Ezkeys but I don't want to use that exact part. Is there a way to come up with a new part that is similar but not exactly the same. I am not a keyboard player so playing a whole new part for me is difficult.

You could also just try out different midi parts within EZkeys - maybe get additional MIDI packs for EZkeys could help also.
