What is the must have synth(s) of the past three years.

The big stores have candy aisles, cookie aisles, and cracker ailes,
and obesity is a huge problem. Sometimes the glut of synths seems like those aisles,
attempting to satisfy some rogue appetite, with the newest size shape and color
of (sonic) sugar. If composers and chefs have one thing in common, it's that
they can make something special with just the basic ingredients.

Eventide Generate is a game changer for me.

I have a dozen VA emulations, but if someone releases something special that is another VA emulation, I'm interested. Special instruments always interest me.

Well, well, well. I think the OB-e maybe be pushing to the top of the list. I always liked GForce instruments.

Someone mentioned already, but the free VCV rack is a fantastic way to satisfy the gas. So many amazing instruments and devices and most of them are free.
And yes, the new OB-e looks amazing, but make sure you check the supported OS.
