I was curious, too, suspecting a marketing term. Looks like it is just that. I've been meaning to capture a Chiral waveform and look at it more closely - Fors may display it in Chiral as a twisty-timey-wimey-loopy thing, but a single-cycle wave has a definitive linear, two-dimensional startpoint and endpoint.
