Sorry invalid entry picked & mixed Full Bucket synths rather than use only one of them :dog:

Finished the track in a hurry as I had only this afternoon to do the arrangement because Sequencair was giving me huge problems with Reaper as it failed to midi sync properly.

Had fun with the track I would like to give it a bit more attention but I didn’t expect these problems with Sequencair (I had already worked most of the sequence ideas in Element which is my sketch pad)

Here is the vst list

x2 Sequencair
x2 Gclip
x1 Unlimited
x1 epicVerb
x1 ValhallaSupermassive
x1 HY-Delay4 Free
x3 Stochas
x2 MonoFury
x1 Bucket Pops
x1 Stigma
x1 Ragnarok

Thanks for giving me a reason to mess around with my virtual studio.

If I have time tomorrow I may revisit the track. Mess around with the mixing and mastering maybe split Bucket Pops drums to at least 4 different outputs… but I am happy at least I finished something after many many years.

Enjoy

PS: I am a very old member but I don't even remember what email I used for my first account let alone remember the password so I made a new account just for this competition.

18 Instances of qyooo in Live 11 with Delays, Compressors, Satuturator, Reverbs, and EQ8.

3rd party: Vahlhala Supermassive. Is it overused? Well, yes, it is indeed overused.
but it so darn purty.

I really don’t like to be the bearer of bad news, it’s still only 1 synth multi instances, not pick & mix :(
Unless it’s a rule I have missed :tu:

Man is least himself when he talks in the first person. Give him a mask, and he'll show you his true face

My entry this month was made with ModulAir -- which is an exceptional synth -- super flexible, easy to use and it keeps getting better (thanks Björn). Unfortunately my system (older Mac) had some problems which slowed production a bit.

https://soundcloud.com/ontrackp/ontrack ... the-asylum

Around 30 instances of ModulAir in Logic Pro X. Logic EQ. Commercial plugs used:
PluginAlliance: Focus Rite channel strip (most channels), SPL Iron Comp on a couple of tracks, Shadow Hills Class A on mix, SSL channel on a couple of sounds, N_Channel on a few sounds
Valhalla Vintage Reverb
Waves: H-Reverb, C6, L3-16, SSL EQ, VEQ-4, Abbey Road Plates

As always - thanks Richard and BJ!

Evening all,

Just squeezing under the wire. May have made a teeny error in (1) trying a new DAW (Reaper, lovely, will be purchasing at some point), (2) trying alternate tuning for the first time, and (3) trying a modular synth for the first time for anything other than idle messing around.

Still, here's a thing.

Good luck all. Looking forward to listening.

Entry :D
https://soundcloud.com/zarf/zarf-gweirdos-holiday
18 BUCKET POPS RHYTHM MACHINE :)
Ableton FX:
About 5 eqs, 10 compressors, 2 limiters, 2 delays, 2 reverbs.
A few custom Max4Live devices to convert midi notes to automation of frequency to allow playing melodies (sort of :clown: )

The 'R2' lead was made with the 'guiro' channel, hence the name.

Good luck everyone!

Hi there, here's my entry...

https://soundcloud.com/user-637213504/greve

I used FBM's Modulair within reaper 6, making all sounds from scratch.
What a nice and powerfull synth! I had a blast controlling it with midi guitar 2 too (I'll update more on plugins used details later !)

Edit :
So here we are :
19 ModulAir instances (no wavetable nor samples...)
MTurboReverb
Valhalla Delay
Valhalla VintageVerb
Reaeq
Reacomp
MautodynamicEq
Uhe Colour copy (with no modulation...)
MlimiterX
Saike Tanh Saturation
Saike Transience
And for the midi part
Midi guitar 2 (man assigning bends to some pitch change in fm synth can be mind blowing!!!)
Midi performer (jsfx)
Midi note filter and Midi Transpose Notes to set a playable drumkit.

I had little time to do that, and I did put all my effort on improvisations with my controller and my electric guitar (to control synths...). Pretty much everything had been played live then edited to keep an organic flavour.
Hope you enjoy!
