I am nit-picking here, but some of the spelling is wrong on their website. There is a screen that shows the effects: Waveshaper and Saturation are not spelled correctly. It has probably been corrected already in the plugin, but the site still shows it that way.

Thanks Lind0n for the info, specifically on the copy protection. That's awesome. Cheers.

You mean in the effects page screen shot? - Good catch - but yes already, and was always, fixed in the plug-in itself...

Hi, here's a small, but possibly important thing. We've realized that calling the offer and discount a "Day-1" offer is confusing, and not clearly defining what we mean, so here goes:

First we've decided to change the name (yeah trivial but it might help) to "Launch Day" offer, and second to explain what this entails. So if you sign up to our email list then a few days before Launch Day we will send you a "Launch Day Coupon", this allows you access to the exclusive content: Launch Day skin, the 30% discount, the presets and the midi and audio demo stems. This coupon will remain valid for the next two weeks, so until the 7th November, which should give everyone enough time to download the demo version, try it out and work out if its a product for you and then hopefully buy HorZEN with your coupon.

OK if that's not clear let me know - and we're sorry for the confusion.

Meanwhile here's another daily playthru some of the presets:

I like what I'm hearing in the videos. :tu:

I don't know if this has been asked yet but are the GUI elements exposed so they can be edited by the user ? I love the grey background but that Fuchsia has got to go....... :hihi:

Nope you cant edit the GUI elements - but (hint) there's no fuchia(Pink!) in the Launch Day version.........

Is this a 'platform' synth where the factory default samples are EDM and you buy other genre packs later?

The factory sounds are not focused on any single genre, such as EDM, there are over 500 different sample sets included, they cover a very wide range of modern and retro styles. We curated the sound sets very carefully so you got a vast set of usable and useful sounds and presets not matter what genre you wanted to write in, or no genre at all. The sound design team have built a solid industry reputation for delivering great sounds and preset usable in many, many contexts. As we say we think we have you covered for (yes) EDM, House, Cinematic, down-tempo, Hip-Hop, Synthwave, Techno, Classic Rock, ...well I could go on for ever really but I hope you get the picture.

But you are right to pick up on the fact that we want this to be a platform not a one-shot product. So there will be a wide range of additional functionality coming, and it will come as no surprise that yes additional sound banks will be coming too.

Would it be possible to post a list of the "500 different sample sets included" ?

That would give us something to chew on for the next 19 days 8 hours 29 minutes and 30 seconds until release. :D

Ok well you asked for it...not sure how useful this is ...but here goes, on a side note we said "over 500 different sample sets included" and when we wrote that it was true....but now its 640+. But that's it for this release...anyway here's the list:

Thank you for that list! I'm really interested in the Pad, Synth, and Vocal samples. I'm already making patches in my head. :hihi:

So if I'm correct we'll be able to layer up to 4 of these sample sets at a time and then add up to 3 synth engines at a time to make patches? :hyper:

All I can say is...bring....it....on.... :wheee:
