That really is a terrible video, and (thankfully) I'm not into "EDM, Trap, Retro or Movies" so it's definitely not for me....

Can you import your own samples?
How much content will it ship with? I am guessing 500 sound sources means samples, or maybe it's something else.
Also can the oscillators be set to free running versus retriggered? I like to be to switch off retrigger for certain sounds.

Oooooh looks like this might be right up my alley.

Questions: When you say "7 Voice" you don't mean polyphony correct? You mean there are "4 Sampled & 3 Synth Engine OSC" ? What is the actual polyphony?

I assume the countdown clock is to release date? Can you tell us "30% off" what price?

Anyway I signed up so will be keeping an eye on the development of this synth. :tu:

OK so bunch of questions:

"When you say "7 Voice" you don't mean polyphony correct? You mean there are "4 Sampled & 3 Synth Engine OSC" ? What is the actual polyphony?" -- Yep 7 different sound sources, Polyphony is currently set to....256.

"I assume the countdown clock is to release date? " -- Yes.

"Can you tell us "30% off" what price?" - We've decided not to release pricing yet, though I can tell you its not an impulse buy, and its not, not not, a "save up to buy this" situation either. Not sure that helps much really.

"Can you import your own samples?" - No not in this current version, but its on the list of things to add in the future.

"How much content will it ship with?" - the current sample sets are lossless compressed in a custom algo. that currently measures 6.8 GB

" I am guessing 500 sound sources means samples, or maybe it's something else." - Yes that's the sample library , of course you get to combine the 4 sample voices that with 3 subtractive synth voices...

"Also can the oscillators be set to free running versus retriggered?" - you mean the subtractive synth voices? Interesting idea -how much difference does that make to (say) a sine wave ? I cant see it having much effect - or do you mean something else?

EDIT: Or perhaps you mean the LFOs? if so then yes retrigger or free-running, and 1-shot or loop......

It does have an effect unless the envelopes are not snappy… Each time you trigger a note it will sound a bit different depending on the phase it jumps in…

Will it support MPE? (Sorry that is always my first question regarding a new synth on the block…)

Yes, the subtractive synth voices.
Usually you'd leave the osc retrigger on for certain kinds of presets, like if you were making a kick drum sound or some other types. It won't sound the best for other kinds of presets though, especially when using unison and some detuning as you will normally get a phaser effect.

OK, well we can certainly look at how we might implement that in future releases...

Oh and MPE - not this release, but already on the road map...

Ok fair enough. Based on the specs I'm very interested in this synth. Pricing will of course be a factor in the decision to purchase.

I know it can be difficult to have a proper demo of a synth with such a large content library but will there be at least a partial demo so we can test the features, compatibility, stability etc ? :)

If the price is not crazy, just right for this kind of synth, that’s an instant buy for me.
New company, a lot of other choices... Please don’t try a $199 base price or I think you’re going to fail. Just watch how DMS Ascension had to rethink its price policy... ;)

Speaking over prize: usually I would have been in for the intro if the prize is reasonable but after been burned so often now with 50 % off and more sales coming just a few month after the "special intro" of 30 % off I am out this time. There are only a few devellopers I still trust in this case (like Skippy for example). But definitely not in this case, I am sure this will happen here (again).

So without even knowing the price and what 30% off that will be you've already decided to pass on a synth because it might be lower priced in the future?

That seems a bit unreasonable to me.

The problem with an announcement like this for a product that's a month off from release is that it gives people a lot of time to make up things to complain about.

Let's wait for a demo (I assume there will be one) and wait to see the price and introductory offer before we make any decisions.

Based on what I've seen and heard so far I'm very interested but of course more information is needed to make a final decision.
