Forgot to ask,

Can you explain some of the insts, programming, interface, anything in detail.

There isn't even a definitive inst list yet!

I know it has saxes, trumpets, and abviously the drums you just mentioned...

I only know what's in the demos - and a few tidbits about their coverage for the entire saxophone family, down to contra-contra-bass sax.

any upgrade prices announced yet for GPO second edition and advanced?

Just me or is there no price on the 'Lite' edition yet. Or was that the $150 mentioned in this thread?

I wonder if the jazz band would also be able to handle smaller brass sections like that in a Motown-type situation.

The second edition is free for all current GPO users. Not sure about the upgrade to GPO Advanced. The price for GPO lite is 149.

WOW!

A free upgrade to the 2nd edition. Very generous. It sure makes the upgrade to GPO Advanced a little easier since I thought I would have to buy both 2nd Edition AND GPO Advanced.
