My Dragon II is pretty capable of making some pretty odd sounds. I have just spent a couple of hours messing around with 14 of the presets, if you want to have a listen.

These are all one note (C3), and have no effects on them. I'm relatively new to synthesis so they maybe nothing you haven't heard before though

A very bizarre (good!! good!!!) synth is Fortune's new Aset synth. Not sure how much dinero it is but I don't recall it being expensive at all. It seems capable of truly twisted sounds that sound new to these jaded ears and I was barely under the hood.
