Korg M1 Piano (Harder sound)

Hi all,
I'm looking at achieving a harder sound on the Korg M1 VST whilst using the house piano. The default set up has a lot of fx wired into it as standard and the attack seems pretty mellow. Anyone know a way of achieving this? The Obligtory patch has some nice sounding harder style notes as opposed to the M1 House Piano patch. Few examples on what i'm looking for below:

I think you answered your own question mate. The M1 vst piano is loaded with reverbs. Disable them. Want more attack? Increase it.
Lastly, you can get more bite out of it if you put it through a decent compressor chain like API/1176 with the right attack/release settings
