This makes me think about accordion sounds on keyboards in general.
I always get phasing issues when I try to create those sounds in synths.
On the other hand keyboards (like Korg Kronos) have all those great accordion sounds in them
and no phasing problems occur. Are they always sample based then or are at least some of them synth based? And if they are synth based, then how the f... do they do it so as to not result in any phasing problems at all? Maybe I should ask this in a seperate post. I've been puzzled a lot about this. It's so far remained a complete mystery to me.

The broad filter swoopy sounds that start at about 1:05. There are strings earlier in the song, and I wonder if they are samples--maybe there is a horn mixed in with them for the filter swoop. Or can it be recreated in vital?

and not really so in to, just happen to have been a relevant answer in the other thread, and today happened to be listening to skyscraper.
thought id challenge choos, as he's very good!!
i think it's tom samples/programming rythym
but be interesting to see if he can come close in some way with modulation and such?

Just having a few lazy days lately. Think I'm training too hard and just don't have the focus atm.
I spend 10-20 mins doing something and then quit because I start zoning out.
But I'd say in the next few days I'll get most of these sounds done.

Oh.. favorite sounds and presets... ok, I'll play.
Here are 3 presets I made for various synths..
what you hear is just one instance of the synth.. I love doing this kinda stuff.
First one is made in Zebralette, it was the intro to my first KVR one OSC challenge OSC 104..
a kinda messed up drunken stoned conga player with his equally lubricated band.
