How to create this synthwave-ish lead? My attempt so far...

Attached is my attempt so far (preset file and mp3) with Massive + Abletons stock delay, phaser and eq. It's basically 2 oscs (sqare and saw, differently detuned with lfos for that phasy (?) effect), a bit of saturation, delay, phaser, some cut at the top end.

I feel that my sound lack a bit of "body" present in the original sound, I've tried different osc waveforms, but it doesn't seem to help.

Grateful for any advice! (feel free to post your thoughts without listening my attempt!)

WOW! You nailed it, thank you!! Really didn't expect to get a full-blown tutorial "Unison spread" really helped to thicken the sound, I'd forgotten that the setting existed, lol. Also, Vital looks cool, gonna try it!

Yeah Vital is cool because (just like Serum) it's really clear to see what is happening so it's ideal for showing people how to's.
But the sound itself is easily replicated in Massive too once you understand the layout.
But Vital is free so anyone can get started with an awesome synth.
