Self-help, or is this for adding noise to the machine? Or both?

That might be good for storing weed in it, if you get a nice Tupperware cover to go with it,
so a multi-function device maybe. :tu:

Keep an eye on Amazon's 'Todays Deal' section for musical instruments, you'll find singing bowls come up fairly frequently. Ive got 3 now, mostly use them 'prepared'
my other modular synth is a bugbrand

One of my favorite ways to annoy my parents when I was a kid, and make awesome noises, was rolling marbles around in my mom's steel bowls. I wonder how well that'd work with a good-sized singing bowl?

I played with marbles too (these days, I've mostly lost them though), sometimes in a china bowl (skateboard ramp style avant la lettre).

vurt should go for a modular setup:

Wow! I never knew they had marble racing. That reminds me of turtle racing for some reason, which I
always wanted to try as I begged my mom to buy me a Reese's turtle when I was 8, which she did.
He died when I was 38. The moral here is don't buy your kid a turtle. Though he was super fast :wheee:
