I have a small Zoom fx box for guitar. It outputs stereo. If I run the output into a USB interface it could go in 1 channel and be a mono guitar track.
But since it comes out of the fx box stereo..could I get a cable splitter and run
1 cable into both of the line inputs on the interface...and get a stereo electric guitar track??

or would I even need a splitter...??? could I select stereo in and stereo out on the track output menu and would I get a double waveform stereo guitar track....thats what I want..
