Yeah I fancied the chants and orchestra ones.
I have older Akai S orchestra libraries, and theyre great…when Akai were really on their game (and tiny amounts of ram) but no previews kill it for me.
Really is a no brainer.

Hey, I'm actually working on something like this at the moment. I have heaps of stuff (e.g. samples from mars, puremagnetik, etc) that would be great as keygroups... Who wants to spend the time to do that manually?
Anyway, I've got the basic idea working but it needs some polish. Stay tuned...

It's not going to be free (but very cheap). It's still a bit early but if you (or anyone) is interested in doing some early testing etc send me a PM and I'll comp you a code in exchange for feedback.

F**ing iLok. Can't launch MPC Software because I've run out of activations, as one of them is "stuck" on SurfacePro that I had to wipe clean & reinstall (so I can't deactivate/transfer).
Hopefully Akai support will be understanding & fix this for me

I had a similar issue years ago, support drag their feet…I looked up Akais support number on google (for your region obviously) and they dealt with it in minutes…just get them to wipe all activations and reactivate

Coincidently I had exactly the same issue - with a MS Surface! It still shows on my iLok account now even though I got rid of it years ago (same issue by the way, bricked after an update and had to totally re-install from boot, sold it shortly after!)
Anyway- AKAI did give me my licence back!

I've finally had a chance to work on this. I've put it up for sale at $4 as an early release: it's not as polished as I'd have liked but it works and I think it can be very useful! As a reminder this is based on automatically creating keygroup files for Force and MPC from folders of multi-sample .wav files. This relies on using the file names (either a midi note name or number) to map pitch information.
Other stuff that is working includes:
- velocity maps (when there is velocity info in file names)
- loops (when it's in the file metadata)
I almost forgot... you can grab it here: https://mabu.gumroad.com/l/gWHFZh

In terms of libraries I've tested on... almost everything with pitched multi-samples sold by Samples from Mars works out of the box. A lot of the Maschine Expansions work with some rough edges here and there. I've tested on several other libraries and mostly things "just work". If you can imagine mapping 262 samples of the SfM Solid Bass by hand ... or do it in a few seconds with Instrumap.
- loops (when it's in the file metadata)

Thanks! Let me know how you get on when you get a chance. I'm keen to help if you have any issues etc - let me know. I'm working on adding a bit more polish before calling it v1.0 but it works well for me as it is.Will try this out later, great work!

@MacButch I just got your Instrumap 0.92. It opens to an EULA but there is no way to "agree" to it to actually get to the software. I'm on Win 10
