I know I've come late to this, but I'm really struggling to put my first simple song together to get the hang of how it all works. Somehow the manual and Youtube tutorials don't seem to mesh. I've kinda figured that if your main 'Pattern' tempo is 1/16 then to get quavers (1/8th notes) in a measure you set the 'Repeats' in the 'Chord Board' to 8 (rather than 16) but somehow when this is Pattern 1 in the song it plays beyond the 16 steps into a second triggering of Pattern 1 which changes part way through to Pattern 2 whose 'Repeats' are all in quarter notes (16). I've tried to find the answer by studying different Preset patterns, but I just don't get it! Is it because the total number of 'Repeats' isn't divisible by 16? And, if so, how do get 1/8th notes in there? Help, please! I'm tearing my hair out, here.
