I have edited the value <string> myplugin.vst3 </string> in the info.plist file in both versions vst and vst3, it appears as vst3

Hi Manu if you take the Same Plugin File to do Both Versions
you have to open the MSP.rsrc file with Rezilla
and edit the Subtype to another Value Like in this Screen shot

this is the place that maize stores the Unique ID of the Plugin
you have a conflict because the 2 Plugins Have the same Subtype Value
you need to Change one of them they must have Different Values
otherwise i's the same plugin for The DAW

ok, well it seems that as i have done before it also works, do you think it will give me problems? so far it works fine.

Yes it Could cause Problems
because when it get scanned by the DAW the Subtyoe will be Registered in the data base as a VST and VST3
if you can not change the Subtype in MSP.rsrc with Rezzilla
then the easiest way to avoid this Problem
is use maize Sampler and export again as .vst it will automatically generate another Sub type
so change the termination to vst or vst3 of this one
to be different then first one already exported and in use by the DAW

Hi, how can we disable “Change Install Location…” in Whitebox Packages? If the client changes the installation directory, nothing will work.

Read the manual there is a Place that you Check: Destination > install on the startup disk Only

When everything seems to be working fine in Catalina ... now comes Logic 10.5.0 and makes all the plugins crash ...

Has anyone else checked this problem?

It only happens with some plugins created in maize, even with the AAA file.
