Points Envelope

Hello,

Trying to figure out the points envelope function. I have a Midi Multinote Envelope with a whole pile of stuff going on inside it. I have a Points Envelope connected to the pts input, but the attack decay, sustain and release seem to not reflect the shape in the points envelop. Especially the release - either it goes on almost forever, or the whole envelop is just a couple of milliseconds long and results in a "blip" instead of a tone.

Can someone help me get a true ADSR effect out of this?

I don't really understand how the midi multi note envelop works - it has an input for pts, but inside the circuit, there is no output for pts to connect to anything that controls the output, yet it clearly does control the volume! What is going on?
