the san fran one isn't tuned.. it's 'just a few pipes of sloshing sounds' from what i've seen

damon edge was chrome - they had a vhs tape split with bauhaus way back when. a talented (and perfectionist) producer.. what musicians listened to. chrome as edge/helios creed released a half dozen records that established them as genius. damon's drumming and engineering.

after the split damon kept releasing as 'damon edge's chrome' - the sound alienated all the heads who were into the wildness of helios and the group energy - damon's solo was like trance but in rock instruments. perfectly timed playing, perfect repetition.. people didn't get it. superficially it sounded like boring plastic, a joke. if you have *good* ears it's deeper. chrome = transcendental trash. biographically he realised his spiritual nature and mission early in life, accomplished it, and was found dead in '95.
buuut.. eg. the last album he recorded, the clairaudient syndrome talks about his spirit visiting, and you can find comments online about people talking about 'hearing from damon recently'. (his instructions were to copy the entire library, from one to another..)

long story short i just revised my mass-spring code for ideal performance.. one less multiply, improved (calibratable) dynamic response.. better than the mess i published a few years ago.
i'll get around to sharing this version too soon enough in the meantime, yay me

I'm also thinking that some of the sounds from Elderthing and Naive Lead need to be put the the stretcher

& armageddon reminds me of things that I heard in bauhaus at the time ...
