I use registered Cantabile Solo (x64, version 2.0.0.2067) since this morning (to replace Lite) and sure I'm a very happy user!
I have a "simple" problem (but not critical, however), I'll try to explain it (I'm French, sorry in advance for some English language faults
):Used hardware: Digital Fame KX61C (seen as "WORLDE CONTROLLER") as MIDI controller. PC Intel Core2Quad running (French) Windows 7 x64 Pro SP1.
This MIDI controller works without any problem in other DAWs I've tested, like REAPER 4 x64. I don't have other MIDI hardware.
MY PROBLEM: I'd like to use "PLAY" and "STOP" buttons located on my KX61C keyboard, in order to control the Cantabile's master transport: Play, Stop, maybe Rewind.
By the way, I assign (as Global) two controls from "MIDI Controller Assignments" window, "PLAY" button is recognized as Controller #119, "STOP" as Controller #118.
I assign them respectively to "Transport - Play" and "Transport - Stop", but Cantabile accepts ONLY ONE button pressure (per button). Each controller from #114 upto #119 can be used one time.
Working once (again) ONE TIME every time I close then reopen Cantabile Solo.
Trying also one button for "Transport - Play/Stop" (set as "Toggle"), but same problem, the button is working one time! (can start, but... can't stop).
Also I precise:
- I always use MIDI channel #1.
- They're no other MIDI assignments and no MIDI filtering.
- No other running MIDI software, no MIDI driver (like Midi Yoke).
- No MIDI routing (this feature is unavailable in Solo edition).
- Tests done with empty rack (no loaded plugin), to avoid possible conflicts.
- Other controls works fine (like knob, ribbon for master or channel volumes...).
- No problem during "MIDI Learn" from "MIDI Controller Assignments" window.
These buttons work "like a charm" when I'm using REAPER 4.602.
