Spencerlee you should always drink Guiness and mix;-) A little bit of Rammstein sounding but not that Guitar massive.

So, is this the Melda Listening Area starting?

Post

I think it's started here for now yes

@Spencerlee, it would be great if you would share what/how you did the mix...and the Guiness too, of course...just so we listen to it exactly "the way it was intended!".../s~

If it has started, I would appreciate being able to download good audio quality files, to listen to in studio monitors, and not on my laptop speakers. Just a thought.

I am not really sure what you need to know. I haven't been game to listen to the mix yet.
Everything was played live. The only thing I added was a snare sample along with the original snare. I am using 6 MTurboReverbs. All the reverbs are my own presets. I am using the Oxford Limiter on the master but the rest are all Melda plugins.
If you want to know about individual Eqs or Compression for certain instruments, just ask.

I am still fighting to get enough low sub into mixes and still keep the mixes loud. But this has been bugging me for 50 years.
No  tonight so giving the Guiness a holiday.

A before/after would be great for all mixes. Rough against mixed version.

Hi guys,

not so much about mixing, but here's a track that I've created with Meldas plugins only.

https://soundcloud.com/frequenzbauzentr ... n-expected

It's MPowerSynth and a lot of plugins...a lot of.
I'm honest, in that not all sound were created from scratch. It's on the one hand me being lazy and on the other it's you being so productive with all the great community presets that are already there for online exchange (you can even find some of mine in a frequenzbauzentrum folder)!

Hope you enjoy it. Help protect the lizzards!

Regards

P.S.: The soundcloud page linked above is a bit empty. I've just started it from scratch as a second profile in order to collect my better tracks there. Work in Progress or older tracks, even those mixed with a lot of Melda plugins used, can be found in my older profile, which is located here...just in case you're interested: https://soundcloud.com/p-e-t-e-r-h

Cool mysterious electronic track :)
I just had a listen and I found that the piece starting at 1:00 get's a bit harsh with those high rhythmic synths. I believe it's in the high mid range.
Otherwise I like the track with all the synth sounds and bleeps that's going on. :tu:

I have completed a new track and I would appreciate some feedback on the production.
It's my usual style of Electronica/IDM/Glitch.
I have used MAutoDynamicEQ, MTurboComp, MTurboReverb, MFilter, MTurboCompMB and MLimiterMB.

I use a variety of plugins, not exclusively Melda, but the Melda plugins I use are on every mix and master with great results, ie: MSaturator, MSaturatorMB, MAutoVolume, MDynamicEQ, MAnalyzer, MStereoEnhancer, MAutoPan.

Here's one song...

Nice, sounds very professional. I won´t say more because I am no expert in those genres. But one cannot avoid hearing them everywhere and, therefore, having some idea of how they should sound. :D

God job.
