I'm just experimenting with the Style Editor. Is this worth finishing?

I would use that as my style. I think you have done a good job. Looks great.

I am perfectly content with your last offering on this. I changed the title bar color (or whatever the top band is called), but that's just aesthetics. The improved clarity of window borders of your style has improved workflow significantly. Thank you again, by the way.

May I make 2 suggestions, please. I do like this new style but there is 1 thing that I dislike, that might stop me using this as my style. The other thing is just a small suggestion that could look nice.

1. So the problem for me is the navy coloured background (labeled 1. in the below image). I know its just a personal thing, but for me, there are two problems with it. Firstly I think it should be grey, it will be more neutral for more people and it will also make the colours pop even more. Secondly, I think there is too much contrast, I would like to see it a little lighter (Not much, it still needs to be dark, but not that dark)

2. Just a suggestion but the bars (labelled 2. in the below image) would look cool if they were lightly coloured like the other bars (labelled as 3. in the below image)

Grey panel background, slightly lighter (more makes it looks washed out). Tinted knob labels. Darker grey knob rings

I'm not sure which ones you mean. The pop-ups are windows - each has the tinted title bar (caption) and a grey border. As in the third pic in my first post.

...oh for sure, I was only stating/confirming a personal need/preference...I only use "exitonium_ds" for that reason, the "windows" are visually defined and quickly recognized.../s~

OK, thanks for the changes. It is looking really nice.
Just a few minor things now:

1. How come the buttons/sliders are bright on the edit screen but dark on the easy screen?
I prefer them dark and would like to see them dark in edit also.

2. The tinted bars on the knobs look good but are very subtle, they are darker or maybe less saturated than the buttons tint. Would it be possible to make them the same?

3. What font is that? I don't mind it but have you tried Segeo UI, it looks really nice for minimal modern stuff like this.

4. Is there some gradient effect in the active preset selector and the A-H selector? I would try to remove this if possible as it would fit better with the flat minimal design.

1 I'm not sure exactly which ones you mean - can you point them out on my screenshots?

2 I used the same values - must be affected by the background / base colour. They are also affected by the "Colourization" settings. I'll have another look.

3 The font is Play. I'll look at Segoe UI

4 Gradient - yep - when I find it I'll remove it

So the buttons (labelled 1 and 2) are bright but on the easy screen, they are dark.

There is one multiparameter that is bright (labelled 3) and the rest are dark.

Also, why do these have squared corners and are not rounded like the rest of the theme?
