Although I admire the production, singing and musicianship of all the tracks I have to say that I only enjoyed listening to a small number of the songs, these were:-
1 Spirulence - Rain Is Pouring Down Great 80's pop song reminiscent of OMD, Buggles & Alphaville
2 Oddbods Finger - She's So Low Really catchy indie pop song
3 Laura's Dad - Lock & Load Sounds like every great American TV soundtrack of the 70's & 80's mixed together
4 Zombie Queen - No Cream Good song, vocals remind me of Davey Henderson from Win/Nectarine No. 9
5 dMast - SNCF The only dance song submitted that held my attention
6 spOrk - Black Sky Parts of this song wouldnt have sounded out of place in Blade Runner
7 me109 - Disappear Good song, nice atmosphere
8 Echo Voodoo - Inconsequential Dream Dont know why I like it but I do!!!
9 Bernadine - Get On Board Good Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band vibe
10 sevenoctaves - Close To You Very funny comedy song

Always get a good crop in a free-for-all:
1. markleford/suicide - simple and sad and beautiful, slightly reminiscent of janáček in mood, if not idiom. gpo grand?
2. knockman/hobnail - can't resist that old testament wildchurch, lovely blend of flippant humour and grim, bone-deep satire.
3. moppel/100 yen - an odd stew of elements here - stiff beat, robochirp vocals, warm bass, loopy little fills - but it comes together beautifully. great production.
4. aziraphal/boots of freedom - haha, hell yes!
5. runagate/ghoulish - these are more cheerful than your average ghoul, but they do make pretty sounds.
6. miro/4am - evocative, the subtle percussion-static is lovely.
7. oddbod/low - great chorus; as with 'king of mediocrity' (his'n'hers?), the mean lyrics had me sympathising more with the song's victim than with the narrator - got me wondering why narrator had such a grudge, and hoping for a response song from girl's point of view.
8. farlukar/cjib - twitchy and hopeful
9. rockstar_not/tram - lonely and understated
10. ixox/mai - sweet lyrics, charming song (and congrats )
didn't get round to reviewing, so i'll squeeze a few more comments in here:
techon/anyway - was going to give this a high vote, then i heard the original by telepopmusik, and found the remix a little too close. still enjoyed it a lot, though.
parke & softegg - best intros of the month.
echo voodoo - good song, but i'm afraid the chorus-type effect on the vocals triggered my vocoder allergy.
jer - love that bass.
sevenoctaves - love those psychotic birds.

01 parke02 5ways Dark and sinister machine. I can imagine myself inside the death star
02 Arglebargle Infiltrate Fine musical breadth & detail
03 me109 Disappear Something quite different. Good melody. Words with meaning!
04 Max el Belga Move Nice solid beat, good vocals, lots of great changes
05 core summer breeze A real smoothie
06 markleford suicidewaltz A rather inappropriate title for a very sweet gentle tune
07 sp0rk Black Sky Well this one just suits all the weather we've been having lately. Nice depth
08 jer1224 RockSonata A curious but pleaseant mixture of 60s, 70s, and 80s styles - love the warm synth
09 dmast sncf A very different idea, well implemented and catchy
10 offthewall FreeforallNoW I'm a sucker for music that makes fun of itself, especially when it's rather good
I'm really sorry about all those I had to leave off. There's some really great stuff this month
