seems tim will live on for a while in many of our minds.

any chance we can get this thread to take over the player for a bit?

I was shocked and saddened today to learn of Tim's death. I would like to add this tune in tribute to the man and his music.

Only the good die young

I was saddened to hear about the death of Tim
He teached me how to make sounds in
Cameleon / synth1 / crystal / yava II / polyibit

My thoughts go out to his family - camel-audio and the audio community / kvr
This song uses your marvelous crystal patches TIM

Here is a song I made with some sounds of Tim.
The most sounds come from the M42 synth.

My website is gone, along with my old handle. But if you did happen to download 'moonlite' by opiadream you have the song I would hope to be a tribute to T.C.
The song was inspired and written around a T.C. patch.

This one is dedicated to TIM and his family. Unfortunatly not made with any of his patches (got none unfortunatly), but it is still dedicated to his masterful work as a composer, as a harp player, and as a patch programmer.

Very Spacy and Tim-like!

Hi Reverend Rhythm,
thanks that you like it.
I think that Tim has made many fanastic sounds.

As many of you know, Tim did a bunch of presets for our ManyTone products including ManyStation and ManyGuitar.

Tim inspired me to write this the last couple of days. In fact it was all played live and just came out of me pretty suddenly.

It uses all presets by Tim in various instruments including M42, M51, 3 tracks of ManyStation (Tim did the main factory bank for this) and the lead is a patch in ManyGuitar that Tim did that I always just loved.

Stars For Tim

RIP my friend.

Forgot to say this in my last post....
I just wanted to comment that I listened to every track in this thread today and am very impressed with all I heard. Great music on everyone's part. You can sure hear Tim's inspiration in every track.

These were not pieces composed for Tim...but music composed using his sounds exclusively. Unfortunately, I can give individual links but if you go to

http://www.hislefthand.com/audio/listen.html and scroll down a bit, there's a piece called "Point of Departure" and -scrolling down a bit further- another song entitled "Prayer." Both were based entirely upon his presets. I am proud to have them stand as memorials. To me, he was a kind, gentle and incredibly visionary soul.

This song is on Camel Audio Web Site as a Demo for the "Starscape Absynth Sounds" Soundset created by Tim. It was one of the songs chosen on the 2007 "Camel Tune Competition". It was all Made with Starscape Absynth Sounds and the Flute made with Cameleon 5000.

Here's a great story showing how nice a human being Tim was.

On the Algomusic website I noticed that there were some user demos of music composed with M42, and so I thought I would send Tim a link to a piece of music I had composed with M42 to see if he wanted to add it to his website:

http://webzoom.freewebs.com/ralphjarzom ... teland.mp3

Perhaps he was too busy, or he didn't feel the need to add any more pieces of music to the list of user demos (or maybe he just wanted to let me down easy  ), but here is the reply he sent me:
Ralph

Thank you very much..a nice piece indeed! Nice soundscapes.

here is something for you:

At first I was totally caught off guard by his response. But then, when I considered the source, I thought "Would you have expected anything less from Tim Conrardy?"
