If you like that sort of thing.
Tangent
Emu XL-7 + as yet unnamed synth -> DSI Evolver -> Kaoss Pad
Best if enjoyed with a joint.

quality entertainment for sunday morning with a spliff
lovely control over the mass of delay, some great little patterns emerge.
very soothing little journey. intrigued by the "as yet unnamed synth"

Hey man there are some cool noises in there (tho i dont smoke no more no more) Keep up the trippy dub sounds and I look forward to hearing them slotted into pieces of musical art. Stay cool bruz. From Damage Control, Nix's lil' sis.

Thanks guys!
Yep, that's what I was going for. I'm glad that the over use of delay isn't too distracting.Ian SDZH wrote:Sounds like a totally f*cked up Basic Channel track...

oh crap...3 mornings later...Jazzyspoon wrote:Tagged for the morning...
got a chance to hear it. Some great sound design, though I was surprised by how subtle you let this remain.
I have some mad gear envy, btw. Thanks for that, J.

Well it was a single take, unedited so there isn't room for much other than subtlety.Jazzyspoon wrote:oh crap...3 mornings later...Jazzyspoon wrote:Tagged for the morning...

Don't be envious, for the first time in my life I feel a bit overwhelmed. However, my reaction to being overwhelmed has been to simplify my approach in many ways. I think that's a good thing. I mean my initial reaction is to cram everything I know into one track but having access to so much is really forcing me to be more selective and to toss out a lot more ideas that don't immediately inspire me.
It's been an interesting experience.
And sorry Steve, if I say what the unnamed synth is, they'll rip my nuts off.
