November is a somber month in much of the world. Everything is dying, more or less (and no proper time of day). It's enough to make someone downright morose and nostalgic.
How about a "nostalgia" month?

PROBLEM
It seems the internet archive is down - first time I've even known that
Those who haven't heard my entry can get it from soundcloud.

It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

Thinking about doing somthing on record shops, but I'm struggling to pinpoint exactly what I miss about them. Maybe that conumdrum will be the theme?
Here's one of my favourite nostagic songs:

I can never listen to Pulp (who I do like) without thinking of this;skipscada wrote:Thinking about doing somthing on record shops, but I'm struggling to pinpoint exactly what I miss about them. Maybe that conumdrum will be the theme?

This had best be the bastard theme now, as I've nigh on finished my entry already.

Theme has been posted (hopefully it's what people had in mind). Crazy busy today, so October voting will be a bit later than usual. Stay tuned!

2 entries on the first day of the month! You guys are fast. I'm still struggling with the "lyrics" and working out which chords and notes will work with the ambitious minor 6th and chromatic descent I unwisely started out with. I'll probably ditch it and go for something utterly banal, as usual.
