Good:
-intro & outro
-vocal sound
-strings
-synths

Didn't care that much:
-drums, out of context, needed to put in the space
-middle section, too long and uninteresting

8/10

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, middle section my typical head scratching WTF was I thinking doodling. Been doing this so long that it's a part of me I can't get rid of. Kind of like an inside joke that only I get. In fact, I think your feedback was generous. I give it 6/10.

I must say, in my opinion your usual pitfall is bad (read: horrible) vocal sound.
This was best I've heard from you, so far.
I know that you have these inside jokes in your large catalogue, including cheesy vocals, but after the 101st time that joke starts to be worn out. Obviously the artificial vocal can sound good, too.

You know, musical taste is so funny and so varied. Either you haven't really listened to a lot of my stuff or you and I are simply worlds apart musically. This track is far from the best thing I've ever done. In fact, I would put it very far down the bottom of the list.

But that's what makes this all so wonderful an adventure. We all like different things. I mean can you imagine how boring the world would be if we were all the same?

Thanks again for the listen. I appreciate each and every one of them.

AOS is a matter of taste, as some mocker nicely put it.
BTW, my "best so far" referred to the vocal sound.

That was Vocaloid 5, which is supposed to be an improvement over 4. Personally, I don't hear it, but apparently it must be true.

Trust me, half the stuff I do has me baffled and confused. That's what keeps things interesting.

Thanks for the listen.

For real weirdness, listen to my "The Reflecting Pool" CD.

yes, link. i'll "try" to sit through it, but keep in mind i do like deep, weird and strange, but in a more unique "structured" intelligently programmed sense than just random noises.

yeah, some people can really get down to a steady stream of white noise.
(white noise is random audio frequencies) me, not so much.

Some of these tracks have been posted elsewhere in this thread as single entries. This is the whole concept CD in its entirety. Inspired by the old Sherlock Holmes mysteries with Rathbone and Bruce in the starring roles.
