Hey sfd, all done. Well, turned out to be a pop song after all.

A little over the top towards the end.

I'll post this over at my Wagtunes Corner as well

Hold On

You better hold on when the day is gone
You better hold on even when the night it feels so long
You better hold on cause life goes on
You better hold on

Sometimes it's just too hard to understand
Til it's finally over my friends
Sometimes we need to fall a million times
Til we reach the top of the mountain
No one said it was easy
No one promised a thing
And all you can do is open your mouth and sing

Repeat Chorus

The time it flies right by no matter what
It never slows down my friend
Take time to breathe the air
But never stop until you reach the top of the mountain
No one said it was easy
No one promised a thing
And all you can do is open your mouth and sing

Repeat Chorus

Instrumental Break

No one said it was easy
No one promised a thing
And all you can do is open your mouth and sing

Repeat Chorus

It's actually quite catchy thing which with another arrangement could be hit, good job.

Better than a wagtunes track. :tu:

Some of the best vocals I've heard from Wags, well done. :tu:
You almost let yourself go at the end but pulled it back in.

You deserve a some praise after all the mud slinging in the other thread, it was getting me down just reading all the negativity and bickering.
Back to the music. :)
Is materialism devouring your musical output? :ud:

I have a confession to make. I had to pitch correct almost the whole thing as the song is way out of my range. It was the most work I've ever done on vocal correction and I guess it paid off.

But that proves one thing. With technology, anybody can be made to sound good.

Hi !
I've listened the 2 songs, the one called #55 (no name) on the first page of this thread, and the second one, "hold on" from @wagtunes on page 3.
I've listened the 2 songs 2 times : one time, as a "radio" listener, and the second time, with attention, as a musician - song composer...
My opinion...
I know that this is the "same" song, but they seam very different, like two songs that they have nothing to do. If you put one of them after one hour time after the other one, I'm quite sure than a "normal" human listener will be convinced that they have really nothing to do the one and the other.
But waououh ! they are all two very pleasant, and I've listened them with a lot of pleasure, really.

As a personal feeling, I prefer the style and the mood of the first one (#55 with no name)... but really, the 2 are really extra !
Congratulations !

Just a personal opinion...

Lutin mutin.
(sorry for a non fluent english language...)
