Did this in my Portastudio days. Programmed straight into a Yamaha MX5 (I think - memory is hazy) and mixed to cassette in real time.
All the drums are from a Korg S3, all the other instruments are a Yamaha TG33. I had no compressors/limiters/eq in them days. :o
The tune is Handsome Cabin Boy, which I heard on a Kate Bush album.

Nice, almost sounds like Indian classical music in some parts.
Many paid and free VSTs as well as Kontakt libraries. As well as HW synths/drum machine and acoustic instruments.

OMG, I used to own a TG-33 back in the stone ages. I recognize some of the sounds. That synth had such a unique character to it.

Anyway, really enjoyed this in all its crudeness.

Went to turn it of but somehow I didn't.
really liked it
Quality production!

Googly, always keen on hearing what you cooked up. I like the atmosphere, the melodies and airy vibe.

I don't often hear such ... "open" spacy tracks that often anymore. I like that a lot!
