damn, that groove is rather nice.
The high note synth stabs I feel sound cheap and overused and lack life (play around with the filter with modulation I'd say)
I quite liked the italo arpegio going on, though feel that could use some filter modulation too, just to keep it exciting. It happens slightly in the end, but could happen earlier on.
The piano and acid bass coming in after teh break make the used instrumentation too versatile and don't give it coherence.
Sorry to sound a bit harsh here, but it's my take on what I'm hearing. Don't know the first mix, nor your output.
As said, there is potential here, the groove you have going on works.

I like it. Reminds me of early 90's techno mixing - hitek 3 etc - not a lot of bass, focus on the snare and mid-range.
Having said that the synth that comes in at ~50s is a bit too loud in the mix - might be a good time to "drop the bass" on the drums and really feel that coming in.
Overall it wins me over because of the retro-aesthetic, nitpicks notwithstanding.

Thanks metamorphosis.
It's not surprising it reminds you of 90's music as that was my clubbing/party time.
Initially there was No type of night from what i can remember (i.e house/trance/techno etc) just good tunes mixed into each other.
I like to mix house, trance & techno styles together.
Will try out your ideas.
Kind regards
Mike
