again some very nice moments in there
the drums too, could have been interesting with a bit more work.
maybe recording the drums then cutting out any interesting loops, as a rythmic base, to do some of the more ambient noodles over?
or even slice the original in to short loops, then use them to trigger the drums!!!
a few possibilities really.

All good suggestions, some of which I have been toying with.
Today I played with converting you're original waveform, to a 'grain oscillator.'
The gate triggers the oscillator 1 time per measure and that also randomizes the start position of the wave. In addition to that, I move the range of the waveform section (which is displayed in the video) to give that "driving back home from the country side, hearing a bunch of related hillbilly music" feel.

Would have been funny to throw a heavy ringmoded "god save the queen" at the end of the waveform and jump to that real quick before the video ended.

If I ever decided to go into the hardware path, I would probably start with the Mutable Instruments Clouds (I would lovingly forgive, it's used 'rack rash').
For the next WAWWA experiment, I decided to use a granular effect(as contrast to the last ditty, where I used a granular synth).
This next ballad is brought to you by: Jimmy Savile of Top of the pops, then says in a singsongy manner:
"If you're blue and you don't know where to go to
Why don't you go where fashion sits?
Puttin' on the Fritz"-

vudes is listening too ...nice,
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
