This I composed, played and produced to an oncoming indie film project. I will write the words (!) later, and produce the vocals later.
I think the melody and arrangement is pretty good.

Personally, I'd let the listener decide for themselves...can come across the wrong way if you're not careful?I think the melody and arrangement is pretty good.

BUT...I agree it is pretty well done overall musically.
Production - wise it's also effective except for one issue that really started to bug me by half way through...
Because you used a 'wide' piano part for a lot of your prominent bass content, the mix has a massive clump of low frequencies wide on the left hand side and it imbalances everything significantly to my ear.

Well done instrumental based on piano and violin strings. There is
even a flute on the right. In the second part, a guitar appears on the right,
which falls slightly in the way of playing.
When I first listen to it, I have the feeling that it is a little "a lot".
If vocals are added, they can completely turn the basic feel of the song.
All in all: Well done!

Thank you for the comment. BTW - its not the flute, its a violin in its highest register.enroe wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 10:24 pmWell done instrumental based on piano and violin strings. There is
