This is noise/ambiance for relaxation, sleep, study, etc. Best played at low volume. You're free to rip the audio and use in your own film/game/music production. Created entirely with Cherry Audio's CA2600 synth.

Nice work, the drips are excellent.
Not sure I find it too relaxing though...

Yeah, the drips sound 'real' at first...quite 3D as well.
For me the background drone needed more subtle ebb and flow...too static?
Interesting - yes!
Relaxing / for Study - nope! Not for me!

I found it relaxing and peaceful.
If addressing realism, I would consider using less pitches on the dripping sounds. Pitch should maybe only change with perceived stereo positioning and depth - so that it describes the hidden architecture.
Not sure if I found the drone too static. Maybe some copies run through APFs, LPFs and panned around before being mixed at different levels into a reverb would create more depth in the sound but I like it as presented.
Not crazy about the ending with the drone fading before the drips end. The fade is rather abrupt - where it could maybe take a whole minute, with the drips also fading slowly but at a slightly greater rate. Quarter sines seem to make for nice, natural sounding fades.

Thanks for the input, guys. I should've mentioned this was more of a quick exercise to showcase one patch on one synth than an actual project. All I did was hit one key and let it the synth "play" itself. I made a dripping water patch on the CA2600, then just slapped some rumbling noise underneath as an afterthought. The entire thing was recorded without any external effects, filters, etc. I would've loved to distribute the water drops across the stereo field for more realism, but can't do that with just a single CA2600 patch. Aside from the onboard plate reverb, the synth is entirely mono. I probably could've got a little closer with Arturia's 2600 emulation, as it has stereo capabilities. I definitely should've explored the noise layer a bit more. Stacking a few of those and panning/automating them around would've made this lot more interesting!

Interesting!
But this would not put me to sleep, it might scare me!
