The song was written and recorded first about eight or nine years ago. At the time I made the track stems available to anyone who wanted to try a remix, which provoked a more than a dozen remixes. A few weeks ago my friend Glen MacArthur (owner/operator of the excellent AVLinux distribution) informed me that his group had recorded the song using my original vocal. This is the provisional result, it's likely to change a bit before its appearance on an album Glen's putting together, but please feel free to comment re: the production and/or the performance.
Best regards,
Dave Phillips

Great work!
Nothing to complain here, indeed. The vocals are also top!

I remember this song (and the earlier thread, too). Were you saving the best until last? This version has worked out very well. Your vocal is a perfect fit for the new instrumental recording, and merges in well with those backing vox. It may be provisional, but I really liked the sound of this.
Good work

@thomekk - Thank you !
@seismic1 - I'm glad you liked the arrangement, I was pretty impressed with it myself. It's about what I'd like to hear if I sang it with a live band. The backing vox was a very nice touch, neatly done. Btw, the "group" is pretty much just Glen and a friend of his, IIRC just the two of them put this one together.
Best regards,

Glen's final mix for his album release. It's only slightly different from the previous link but the mix is a bit better (IMO).
