Nice, it has potential. I'm a sucker for gtr based tuff.
Currently trying to turn noise into music. Is boutique the new old?

Good guitar rock. Good vocals and sounds.

Thanks for the comments. I've been trying to improve my mixing but find it really hard to be objective, and think song first.

:tu: I liked it. And also the garage-mix

Bass and drums felt a little off-rhythm in places, but I liked it overall. Funny lyrics. Been listening to mostly synthesizer stuff on forums lately, nice to hear some old school guitar music.

Thanks for the feedback. "Garage Mix" and "Off-Rhythm" seems to be my strong suit, and a guy should stick with what he's good at!

Curious: the mix is a lot quieter on SoundCloud. Any suggestions on optimum level for tacks To be uploaded?

"All in" by Michael Tambaro: I am delighted with the rocky beginning. I'm
even more impressed by the beautiful melody line and the clarity of the
song. The loving guitar work is noticeable - everything similarly to "Deep
Purple" with the electric organ underlaid. The growling bass guitar is also
played well. :tu:

The mix is nice up front, the drums not too loud. The performance has room
for improvement. :!:

It takes a bit of effort to follow the text closely. Is it about risk assessment
and understanding things? It seems so. A topic that challenges everyone
every day. 8)

But what really counts is the composition. And it is beautiful, very successful!
It's just fun to hear this song, I really like "All In". :tu:

enroe, thanks for your kind words. I've been waiting for you to post a retraction, that you possibly posted to the wrong thread.
If not, you may be my target audience? :)

A "retraction"? No, no ....

The range of the different styles in this forum (and others) is of
course extreme: Most of all we find EDM (Electronic Dance Music)
here - with a lot of synthesizers, drums - and mostly without any
vocals.

But we also find many other set pieces, simple loops, film music
excerpts and even medieval music. Rock music in which you
record the guitars with a microphone and sing yourself is really
rare. But this is exactly the genre of music that I'm at home in and
that I like the most. And that's exactly how it seems to be for you.

Three comments from me:

1. I like to listen to all sorts of styles that users post here. So I
can also warm up to EDM, Ambient, Tekkno or the strangest.
What also fascinates me is the creativity of the users - and the
meticulousness with which everyone here tinkers and puzzles
with their songs. Still, for me, hand-played rock music is the
highest of all styles. Because for me it simply has an emotionality
and is rousing in its immediate rawness and animality.

2. This type of music, which you and I are obviously making, is more
difficult to realize overall. Because you cannot edit everything "inside
the box" on the PC. You have to play yourself, record, etc. On the one
hand it is more immediate, on the other hand it makes the process
much more complex.

3. Because all people (at least in Western countries) usually listen to
commercial rock music on the radio every day, everyone is used to
hearing fairly well composed and well mixed music.

We are now trying to shine with our own compositions. In view of the
expertise and experience that is necessary for a comparatively well
composed song, it is extremely difficult to develop an audience at all.
To do this, you have to be just as good as the commercial radio
competition. This is either impossible - or requires a lot of work,
training and experience.

---------------------------------------------------------------

And I always have these conditions and aspects in mind when I hear
and rate music from users here. Seen in this way, "All in" is pretty
good!
