The numeric value readout don't like it when it receives a value of -1 from pattern out socket ( which is necessary for stopping patterns )

I could substitute this with a data module 'word' into single line text module , but that's a lot of hassle

[numeric value] modules have a minimum and maximum in their properties; is this just a case of needing the set the minimum as -1?

even when set to -1 ( as minimum ) , when feeding a -1 to a pattern to stop from playing , the readout gives an error when connected to pattern out
Simplified view
As you suggested earlier , a value of -1 is to stop a pattern , but even the debug gives an undefined ( when attached to seq.pattern out ) , so it's obvious the Num.readout also flips out
