Too much picks/plectrum noises in strum technik with AGM

I am new in this forum and still use an older version of AMG since years (version 2.5.5 on Mac 10.13) with no problems.
But I find that there is too much picks/plectrum noise in the recording -> strummer -> strum.
Is it possible to reduce these scratching noises ?
