Thats a cool little feature that will probably be helpful for support in different hosts ;).
I like to use your midi plugins as generators in FL.
That way I don't have to use and extra MIDI out gen.
Also I can save them in an FL wrapper and then run or open them externally (rather than have to select them from a menu).

Anyway great work!

Also I'm trying to create a whole project with 2 midiPolyphony plugins (one with High other with Low note priority) as a workaround right now. Hopefully it will make processing chord progs much easier..

Will let you know how it works out..

I think I am missing something. I wanted to try using Piz's midicurve in Energy XT 2.5, and I can't get it to work... Same with Soma's Glider. Seems the midi controller map takes the value straight from Midi in - and ignore's what's put in the chain before the effect.

Anyone got any advice on this?

that's exactly what happens... if you want to alter the midi data before the controller map, you can try using my "midiIn" plugin instead of the built-in midi input:

Just tried that, and unfortunately, it was to no avail (though perhaps I'm missing something again!). If I deleted the built in Midi-input in modular view, and replaced it with your MidiIn, I got nothing being sent to the controller map. If I plugged the Default Midi Input back in, I got the usual results.

I would say at this point that it's not allowing me to select my midi input (there are two options '--' and 'MI4', and if I click MI4 it leaves '--' selected).

Very quick reply by the way - thanks very much!

i've seen that happen a few times but never figured out what causes it...

did you uncheck your midi device in XT's setup?

if you can't get mine to work, there's also MIDIIO:

Hey piz do you have any other of those mbncp links? Like the dummy ASIO driver etc?

Thanks for anything.
