Hi all

Can you recommend a program, preferably Windows, but Ubuntu if necessary, that can make a backup/restore image of Ubuntu studio on my USB 3.0 stick.

Thanks that link lead me to a few other pages where I found this beauty https://www.osforensics.com/tools/write-usb-images.html which seems to do exactly what need.

Looks like a good find, thanks for passing on the info.
I have a failed usb drive to troubleshoot, and this imageusb
utility looks like a good tool for that.
