Catalina and Samsung T5 SSD

I'm reading conflicting comments about the capability between the two. Before I try to put Catalina on the T5 and use it as the boot drive on my Mac, does anyone have experience using the two, good and/or bad?

The official solution (in 2019) is to call +31-88-9090100, chose option 1 -> option 6.
They will let you navigate to https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/m ... rtable/t5/ and scroll down. Even BigSlur is supported.
Seems to only work with loss of all data...

Thanks for the response. That was one of the solutions I read about - but I also read where it didn't work for some, and then others who did not download/install the Samsung software at all, and the T5 worked just find on Catalina. I guess I'll just find out. One person did suggest to make sure the drive is formatted for Mac before hooking them up - which it is.
