Being cost effective and efficient with your DAW PC / Mac is important.
I discuss SSHD in this video and some possible benefits of using one, or two or three.
In My mind; it would be best to use them in 2 terabyte sizes because they are quieter than the 4Tb models.

By the way, the older Seagate SSHD are very similar to the firecuda, but the difference is that the 4tb Firecuda is slightly quieter. In 2tb random reads is faster for the older seagate model.
