Here's some strum patterns TC at Indiginus made from an Oberheim Strummer years ago.
They seem to play good in RC.

This is helpful, thanks!
FYI I started to work on the strum pattern editor. I'll add everything I think is needed, then you can tell me what is missing, what is wrong, etc. So it will be an iterative process. Thank you for your help in advance!

If I have a session with a lot of VSTi then open another instance of RC it loads that same composition, I have I to wait until it all loads then click New Composition.

uncheck "load last composition at startup" in settings..??

Yes unchecked, when I start RC it's always a new session. It restores the current session like when it crashes, so might be just reading the current state ?? or maybe another setting I have missed ??

Yup, I can duplicate that. 2nd copy is loading the 1st copy project with that setting unchecked. 1st copy did not load the project with the setting unchecked, etc..

I also unchecked the setting below that as well, for the environment.

Hi Attila!
I have two sentences ..
1. It would be better to navigate with the project, if there was an opportunity to give each track an individual color background (as they do in ordinary DAW).
2. This is the most important for me ..)))
It would be nice to do an optional way:
When I pressed a chord on the external midi controller, I immediately see the name of this chord and preferable scales for playing on this chord (following the example of collecting scales for the selected chords). This is a theoretical and practical point - all musicians want to know what scales it is theoretically possible to play with this chord)!
Next, I have a choice: record to a track in real time or
select chords and scales from the appropriate menu.
But now I have seen and know what scales these will be !!!)))
Thank you .
How is work going on phrase controllers?

RapidComposer v3.6b7 is available!

This update features the new Strum Pattern Generator and editor, see screenshot below.
The focus is on editing rather than generating. Any suggestions are welcome.

 You don't have to use a virtual guitar instrument if you don't want to, it sounds pretty good with the included GeneralUser soundfont (Steel Guitar preset).

Hi lulukom!

Would it be useful for you to see the scales on the "Enter chords from MIDI keyboard" window?
Like this:

Maybe with another keyboard showing the scale notes. Or maybe the scale notes could be highlighted on the main keyboard with the chord notes?

Thanks,
Attila

Thank you, Attila!
All your options are good, I would also like to see (I will add to your picture) just the letter and numeric designation of the notes included in this chord. In your picture (which is quite good) add
  G - B - D / 1-3-5.
Thank . That would be very cool. Especially for complex chords and scales.
And of course it will be the determinant of the chord in real time!)

Post

I forgot to add that I would like to see all the notes included in each scale))!

But how? A small 1-octave keyboard next to each scale name?

No, of course, not on the keyboard, but just a list, lettering.
In our case, for example, under each scale:
G major
G-F#-E-D-C-B-A

Post

Or simpler like this:
G major (G-F # -E-D-C-B-A)
