when i export the song as individual midi files it saves the patch instrument with each midi file . In cubase 10 i then i have to use the list editor to remove the patch at the beginning of the midi file.. Is there a way to set the program so that it doesnt save the patch instrument number with the midi file please , anyone.. ????????????????????????????????????????????

It depends on the instrument. If you use General MIDI "No patch change" as the track instrument, no program change will be added to the MIDI file.

Its not about a program change its about having any program patch saved which i dont want any ,, I am not getting program changes . Its the instrument patch file which the list editor in cubase 10 shows as the first data of midi info . I dont want any instrument patch saved like piano patch or whatever . Because for each midi file i import from rapidcomposer which i might have on say halion 6 or omnisphere and they respond to the patch so i have to use the list editor to remove it .. Isnt there a way to save the midi file so that no patch information whatsover is saved in the midi file ?

If there is no solution i will just keep using the list editor.
